AN EVOLUTION VETS FARMER TRAINING COURSE

  MOBILITY SCORING COURSE

1 day course - OPEN TO ALL

  £150 + VAT

  Course tutor: Brendan John MRCVS

We are pleased to offer a training course on mobility scoring, which qualifies successful attendees to be entered onto the Register of Mobility Scorers (https://roms.org.uk).

The course will cover all aspects relating to working as a registered mobility scorer - from the biosecurity and H&S considerations involved with any work on farms, the benefits and goals of performing mobility scoring, through to the practicalities of carrying out the scoring.

The session will be split into a theoretical class in the morning, completed at our office in Nether Stowey, followed by an afternoon session on a local farm practicing the techniques we have learned in the morning. We will return to the office before we finish to complete the evaluation and certification procedure. Lunch will be provided.

This course is registered with DairyPro, so you can collect points for attendance.

9am start at our offices at Inwood Farm.

We will spend the afternoon in practical sessions on a local farm. You will need to bring suitable clothing to keep you warm, as well as clean wellington boots. More details will be sent by email nearer the time so please make sure you provide email details of the person attending the course when you book.

Lunch will be provided, as well as hot drinks during the day.
